Durability

These knives as made from a durable nylon that is very solid when you hold them. They are sturdy enough to cut through food without bending or breaking. Each knife has a blade with teeth that will not wear down under normal use. Each handle has rubber inset into the handle to provide a firm grip. Even after several uses and runs through the dishwasher, the rubber pieces remained in place.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The StarPack Nylon Kitchen Knife Set is easy to clean. You can wash them by hand; however, they are dishwasher safe. The white material does stain with certain foods like strawberries and carrots, but it fades away after several washes.  Since they are made from nylon there is no need to worry about the blade getting damaged. Who Should Buy the StarPack Nylon Kitchen Knife Set?

I would recommend the StarPack Nylon Kitchen Knife Set to parents who want:

  • An Safe Design  – Knives made from nylon are some of the safest options available. These knives are designed to protect from accidental cuts but still cut through food.
  • An Option for Younger Kids – I wouldn’t hesitate to let my 4 year old use this knife other their own. Of course I would be close by to supervise, but these knives gives children independence to start using knives on their on until they can graduate to a steel knife.
  • A Great Price – You cannot beat a $3 knife which is what this set of three knives comes out to. Sure it is not a steel knife, but the quality and safety that this knife provides makes this a good purchase.
